Members returning after cancelled membership

Hi,
If my members cancel either intentionally or because of non-payment, will their profiles remain intact when they return? Will they have to sign up again through selecting a membership level or will they be able to login and update payment method?

Sorry for such a basic questions but I didn’t see anything in the forum or documentation.

Hi, Yes their profile are not affected, only the membership is affected
