Hi, one thing I can’t find or set is the Expiration Date for a Membership Level. There is the “Initial Payment”, then the “Billing Amount (which is the recurring subscription)” and it’s time can be set. There is “Billing Cycle Limit” for recurring subscription. And I see “Membership Expiration” which linked to both “Initial Payment” and recurring subscriptions. So if I choose an expiry date with “Membership Expiration” option recurring will also stop.
What I mean is “Initial Payment” has no period or expiration setting options. So when would recurring subscription start?
Also I wanted to check if I could do payment plans such as most dating website do:
-Membership level 1: 1 month $10
-Membership level 2: 2 months $15
-Membership level 3 :3 months $20
At the expiry date of the above periods the Recurring system auto-starts.How can I do this? Is there any options I misunderstood? Thank you!
October 22, 2013 at 01:44 #4853SQadminKeymasterHi, As it says in the field description:
“Set the duration of membership access. Note that the any future payments (recurring subscription, if any) will be cancelled when the membership expires.”
So the counter starts from the date the membership is enabled regardless of the recurring options you set.Hi there!!! When this “Initial Payment” expires after 1 month the “Recurring Subscription” starts. Or is it also cancelled because the description says: “…(recurring subscription, if any) will be cancelled when the membership expires.” This is the part that got me confused.

Here is a question for you. Lets say that the trial account expiration is 1 month and the account expires. If the users decides to upgrade for paying membership before the date, sure enough he/she will choose to do so.
1. What happens to expired account?
2. Does the user require to create new account to continue the membership?
3. How do you prevent the user (he/she) from keep looping using the trial period say “30 days account” from not paying? is there a way to have the expired user mandatory upgrade, if deciding to come back after 30 days expiration?4. Also where would go to restrict what a “trial” membership could be entitled to?
Thanks

After one month for example in level 1 the user should be charged again and so on.
