Membership profile viewed by non members

Hi,

Our client would like to assign to each member a membership number by which their families and friends can search for their profiles and view their profiles and posts. When their families click on their profile picture, they need to enter the membership number in order to view the profile. They can view the profiles but can’t change the content. Is this achievable? If need customization, how much would this cost?
