Radu, I’ve asked a particular question a number of times and to date no response- you seem to be fairly knowledgable. please have a look and help me understand this better. Sorry this is a little lengthy.
We need to understand the “function” of ../or the differences in performance or what these are geared to do.
Become a Subscriber… what does that do- if someone signs up to become a subscriber, what benefits does that user get? and where are the permissions set for this in KLEO? Do these permissions affect Advertisers in GD?
When we click on Subscribe with us, it takes us to a short form- that says sign in with Facebook-( also not working)-plz advise how to fix that.
But it says: Become a Member, Login, and Register. Do all 3 things mean same thing?
———–do I have to set up permissions as to what a member can or cannot see? where do I do this?
Is a Member and a Subscriber the same thing? Do you have some documentation I can review on this?
I thought the FB connection would work wonderfully for what we want to do-but I don’t understand how to get it working yet.
—- In our eyes, the only users that need to register or become a member are those who are contributing information to the site. ie Advertisers (Add a listing), Ocean Artists- who will contribute artwork(searchable images)-, and Marine Database contributors. Because we have to monitor everything to ensure no spammers.
—so when someone signs up thru this- I happened to find someone in Manage Signups- turned out to be a spammer- and I am all worried that there is no protection here. What does signing up – let them have access to what?

when someone attempts to Add a listing (thru Geo Dir -and we have all the add ons) -it takes them to a Registration page-which I am not sure how to get to this to make changes?
, -Completely different page- that apparently I guess we set up with questions we want a new owner to complete- However, I also found people New users showing in Users -subscriber-participant that were also spammers. I panicked and deleted it before I realized there was a way to code that user as SPAM. But also, the required fields, all they input (rather than real information) was AB, CD, EF, GH, IJ… etc… and it let them get all the way through.
I have ad listings set to Draft- but unlike AWPCP- there is no link for admin to view all ads pending approval, or images, or posts…

The signup process and level assignment are not related to the KLEO theme, it uses the default wordpress behavoiour for this matter. You can adjust what writes to have each member role using this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/screenshots/

R: To can be subscriber you should have an account registered to the site and the subscriber it’s initial wordpress role , see the capability vs role table.
The facbeook login works, just i’ve tested see the screenshot above.

R: I don’t think it’s controlled by kleo theme, do you have checked settings for all of your addons if haves a option that restrict adding listings only for logged in users.
For this matter you can ask the geodirectory support.Again, use the wp bp retaptcha plugin,

Mark as a solutionYou can delete the users that you have created for testing proposes using your secondary emails addresses. For this matter, you can ask the geodirectory support.You can create a new page using visual composer and add portfolio element into the page and also you can add the search forum also from visual composer in same page.
If you want to use also geo directory functionalities in that page use their shortcodes : https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/
You can import the news magazine layout from wp-admin -> appearance -> demo data -> import – news magazine layout, then you will see the page under wp-admin -> pages, edit that page with your desired content etc.
