Memory Issue

I have just updated the theme and get this on one of my pages:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 512 bytes) in /www/sites/c99/ebd/www.englishwise.co.uk/web/wp-includes/meta.php on line 838

I have increased the memory limit again and it’s working; should I need to repeat this after each theme update?
