    Some icons are NOT showing on the MENU when I select to choose the icon.

    See image attached.

    Hi,

    Sorry to hear you’re having issues with icons, please update this ticket with admin credentials so I can look into this further.

    In the meantime please also disable all other plugins that did not come with BuddyApp, including caching and CDN services to see if the issue is being caused by a third party.

    Hi,

    I have logged into your staging site and I couldn’t find anything obvious after disabling plugins. caching, CDN etc so I am going to ask my colleague @Radu to look at this for you.

    In the meantime please overwrite the parent theme files with a clean copy of the BuddyApp theme downloaded from ThemeForest to ensure there are no missing files or any corruption.

    Hi,

    On my local install those works as it should, please make sure if after you de-activate all plugins and child theme you encounter the same, if yes, re-upload the theme files over the existing ones then check again.

    Hi

    So, I UPLOADED the theme again to my server, DISABLED all the plugins and selected the MAIN THEME instead of the CHILD.

    Error keeps showing.

    Any suggestions?

    Is there a File that I could check if its being loaded or not to try to nail down the issue

    So I looked into /wp-content/themes/buddyapp/assets/fonts/fonts/icomoon.svg and I saw that MANY of the icons are NOT listed there.

    Image attached of the list of icons on the file and the icons trying to be loaded at the backend.

    As you can see, the icon ANDROID is shown in the file, but the other next to it:

    • anchor
    • ambulance
    • etc

    are NOT in the file.

    Hi,

    That’s odd, i saw them… but on my end i cannot reproduce, can you please provide FTP to take a closer look ?

    I will re-upload theme maybe some files are corrupt or something.

    Hi,
    Re-uploaded entire assets folder in wp-content/themes/buddyapp/

    But when i want to try to check how it behaves right now the url seems to no longer works

    The FTP I gave you was for the main site: http://www.estilotu.com, not the staging areas. So if you uploaded this folder they should be visible at http://www.estilotu.com

    You can login here with the same credentials as before.

    The staging section is not online right now.

    I checked the page but the icons in the menu still does not shows.

    Hi,

    I see, using Wp admin tried to de-activate all just to test the behaviour but when i’ve deactivate all plugins receiving the next error.

    This page isn’t working

    Try clearing your cookies.
    ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

    So de-activating plugins should not cause like this…please let me know when the website it’s reachable again.

    In normally conditions disabling/enabling plugins should not causing a error like that, Sorry…nothing was intentioned, i just want to debug the issue, i’ve done this procedure enable disable plugins on many installs and not happening this, so it’s a safe operation..

    So did you tried to add new icons ? cuz comparing your menu icons with mine you have significant more icons that i have and from example star-1 cannot be found on default buddyapp theme since on your exists the code “star-1”

    I tried downloading new icons from https://icomoon.io/ but didn’t work.

    Then I downloaded the full theme again from Themeforest and uploaded the folder assets/fonts/fonts/ and gave it a try and did not work either.

    Running out of ideas.

    Maybe you done this ok without tutorial but there was a small bug related to the custom icons on our theme, now i’ve fixed this also on your install and that will be included in next theme update.

    I’ve update those files concerning the displaying icons issue :

    /wp-content/themes/buddyapp/functions.php
    /wp-content/themes/buddyapp/lib/components/base.php

    Now, just re-save theme options to empty transients

    That;s it

    I followed the steps you mentioned above but still they dont show.

    I DEACTIVATED ALL plugins, and still does not work.

    I will send you the STAGING user and password so you can check it your self.

    Hi,

    It should be patched also on the staging site and using this FTP account it looks like there is no access for the staging instance.

    So just replace on the staging this file content : /wp-content/themes/buddyapp/functions.php
    with this file content : https://pastebin.com/raw/yFtnV0gQ

    And also this file : /wp-content/themes/buddyapp/lib/components/base.php
    with this content : https://pastebin.com/raw/wisUG8Zn

    I can do that for you but there is no access to the /home/estilot5/staging/1 path using the provided FTP.

    After you replace files, just go to wp-admin -> theme options -> save theme options it’s very important
