I am having an issue with the navigation menu items on a page lining up with the corresponding elements on the page, in a “one page site” set up.  I set up a custom menu on a page within my site and named each of the rows with element IDs.  When I click on a menu item, it is supposed to move down the page to it’s respective row (for example, menu item “sweepstakes” when clicked should move down the page to the row I have set as “sweepstakes”)…the issue is, it moves (so I did set it up correctly), but it moves too far down the page, far past the “sweepstakes” (for example) section.  Same with “About”

Ideally the top, or beginning, of these sections would line up just underneath the bottom of the sticky menu….but they do not…and not even close.

So, how to I get the menu items, when clicked, to make the page navigate to the proper place on the page? I tried adding “gap” elements to get the rows in better position, but that hasn’t helped.

The page is far from done….but I don’t think that is the issue.

    Thanks,

    Chris

The problem is that the navigation menu is set to sticky. So the rows are navigating to the top of the screen…as opposed to the bottom of the sticky menu. Therefore they are getting hidden behind the sticky menu. At least that’s what I think is going on here and causing the problem. Is there a way around this to make it work?

Hello, i see, maybe you should place the id before the section 🙂
I can do this for you if you share admin credentials 🙂

OK…great. I tried that (I think?), but didn’t seem to work. See the row called Sweepstakes. I placed a new row called “sweepstakes” before the actual sweepstakes row. Then tried adding a gap in there to space it correctly. Didn’t work for me. So here you go….thanks! 🙂
