    Hi,
is there a way for me to decide which information I would like to appear in the meta description?

I would like to post links to my members profiles on Facebook, and when I do I would like that the profile picture appears, the name of the member and the description on the “about me” field or other fields that I choose.

Here is a screenshot of what I mean:

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as it would increase traffic and member sign-ups significantly. Not just for use with Facebook pages, but also it would be extremely good for search engines like google.

    Thank you.

Hi, Facebook looks for some meta tags in the head of the page and those are not generated by Buddypress. You need a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wonderm00ns-simple-facebook-open-graph-tags/ but for Buddypress
Let us know if you can’t find one

Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solution
