Microformat missing author

Hi,

Having errors thrown in search console due to missing author microformat.

Can you pls advise as to how to fix this? Yoast says it is a theme issue and provides fix here but I would like long term solution.

Hi,

It looks like you have not enabled the ‘Author’ element in WP Admin > Theme Options > Blog > Option: ‘Display Meta Fields’. If this option is disabled then the author meta will not be generated.
