Migrating users from old site

I have an old site that uses standard wordpress users/posts to SweetDate/buddypress. Do you have any automation scripts, or tutorials that would allow me to migrate the previous sites data over?

Hello, users are global so if you install buddypress your wordpress users will be also buddypress users

Thanks, are there any other aspects to migration that I should be aware of? This is my first experience with buddypress/sweetdate so I want to make sure I’m not overlooking anything.

Hello, no need, worpdress users are the same as buddypress users.
The only thing to note is that sweetdate pages use elementor, but your normal pages should show just fine if you have content on them it wont be lost

Sorry for the delay in response. I have migrated over 25k users from my old site to the new one, but the only users that show up in the members section are the two users that I created fresh on the new site. Can you let me know why that would be?

Hello, users need to login at least once to show at the members directory this is how buddypress manage users 🙂
