missing elements in theme after install (site background image/rev slider)

hi i was trying to set up my site but after i started watching your video tutorial it seemed my site didn’t look as it should from the start!  ive attached an image to show you what i see after i have installed the theme.

did i get a bad zip file or did install go wrong?  how can i fix the missing page elements so i am starting at the same place?

i re-installed the theme; must have been a bad install; still no men online symbol art tho
