    Hi,

I updated the RTmedia,Buddypress, and Kleo Theme and now the Meta Fields information that displayed next to the post telling who the author is,avatar, date etc are now missing (not sure which on broke it). I have those settings turned on in the blog settings but its not showing (see screenshot). Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

You’re running a very old version of VC. Please upgrade it.

After you do that, respond privately with info from Theme Options > Sys info.

Hmmm. I seem to be having the same issue on my site. Let me get back to you on this. Need to dig through the code changes that the devs made.

Okay, try adding “Profile Link” to the meta. That worked for me.

I think they were trying to give us the option to not link the avatar but the logic is a bit wrong. I’ll talk to them about it.

@abe – can you take a look at the author_link logic? If you want to keep it that way, can we add a note saying that it needs to be enabled in order for the avatar to show up?

indeed @sharmstr that will be hidden by default.. Maybe we should add it in the changelog?
I want users to be able to hide the author link but it is hard to know if they had it removed by themselves or if it was after the update.. What you you think?

Hmmm. I dont know the best way to handle that. I can tell you that even I was confused as to why the avatar wasnt showing up so we need to do something. LOL.

Currently the avatar and the author name are bundled together. Can’t we separate those? Then it would make more sense I think.

After the latests updates lots of features are acting weird…
