Mobile App Theme

Hi,

I’ve just downloaded your Mobile App theme to test out a new look for my homepage. Unfortunately, even when importing the demo data, it does not seem to render at all similar to the demo provided (i.e. top bar remains black, rather than matching background, no sliding menu options etc.) Is there any way to work from the demo assets originally shown so that customization would be easier?

You need to set those up.

Go to appearance > menus > manage locations. Unassign the primary menu and select a menu for the side menu.

Edit the page and scroll down to theme general settings. Enabled transparent main menu, hide the top bar, hide the title, hide the breadcrumb and hide information.

Finally go to theme options and enable the side menu. Set whatever options you want for it.

For the menu, you might want to do this instead

Go to appearance > menus and create a new menu. Dont add any items to it. Then when you edit the page, find the custom main menu box on the side, select it. That way your main menu will show up on the rest of the site, but not on the home page.

Thank you for your assistance with this. Unfortunately, I’m still not able to emulate the offcanvas menu shown in the demo, nor change the top bar colour.

Any further advice with this?

There is no top bar in that demo.

Use my second suggestion by creating a blank main menu.
