Modal register form changes.

Is it possible to add the folowing :

When someone enters his email or username in the modal register form, it pops up if it’s allready in use,
and with the username that it show you can’t add spaces or invalid symbols.

Hi, The modal doesn’t take care of validation right now since the actual registration in done in the register page, the modal being just a middle step.

How hard would it be to place a layer while it passes the variables to shoot off an email or “pre-register” the user in case they don’t fill out the registration form?

Probably 1-2 hours of works,depends on how complicated you want it.
