If you don’t want e-commerce you can just not use it and it won’t affect anything on your site

The same thing happens for me. As soon as I activate WooCommerce -the site goes down and I receive this error – Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12288 bytes) in /home/amp1/public_html/wp-admin/includes/update.php on line 184

It can only be resolved by deleting plugin manually from the WordPress directory. I am using the latest version of WordPress.

Problem is from the hosting that should increase your PHP memory limit to recommended 128 MB. Right now it seems you have 64MB assigned
