    Hello,
    I recently purhased the KLEO theme and am very impressed with it.
    I am finishing a site at http://www.laprogresiva.org/home-2/ and would like the header to have a .5 black opacity like I have with the sticky header and can’t seem to find how or where to set it.

    Please note I am not a great php programmer and decent at CSS.
    Thank you

    PS I don’t see a checkbox to get notified of response via email. I’m at del@empdigital.net

    Try this.

    COPY CODE

    .navbar-transparent .navbar .kleo-main-header {
    background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
    }

    Thank you for the immediate response. I’m VERY impressed.
    Pardon my naivety, where do I input this. I use other themes that have the Custom CSS in the Theme Options but can’t find in this Theme’s Options.

    🙂 You’re welcome.

    Since you seem to be a bit new to this, do you have the Kleo child theme enabled?

    Hi,
    Well, I have been utilizing WP themes for over a year now, and have over 15 sites online. You can see my portfolio at http://empdigital.net.

    But as a matter of fact, I still don’t know how to utilize child themes.

    Guess I should learn.
    Any recommendations for a tutorial?

    Thanks

    There’s really not much to learn. If a theme provides child theme support, you should use it. This allows you to make changes without modifying core files. Basically, your changes will be upgrade safe since themes only update the parent, not the child. http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

    Its great if a theme gives you a way to add css, but what if your modification requires php? That’s where child themes are handy. If you want to switch to your child theme now, take a look at this post I wrote:

    Hello,
    I notice the logo is now smaller than it was in the header before. It is now the same size as the sticky header size.

    I’m not seeing that.

    Seems to be in Chrome but OK in Firefox and MSIE. It’s my issue. You have been most helpful. And I’ll give the child theme a shot. Thanks!
