need login/register to change to username

I feel like I saw the demo doing this before hand but i’m trying to make my main menu show the member username where it currently has login.

I’m not finding where I can make that happen.

Also, the login page pulls up a side by side login and sign up forms that are asking for different information than another registration page which is showing up in the footer where it shows the avatar and name of the user.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hello, at Appearance > Menus, at the top of the page open Screen Options and check KLEO
then you will see a new section, there you can add my account item that has the avatar,you can include the members username next to the My Account avatar with ##member_name## in the Title Attribute field.

The login and sign up modals are the same, the register modal will redirect to the full sign up page of buddypress to fill the rest of the fields
