New page replaced with old page version

I have to be honest I’m getting quite frustrated. Numerous times now over the past week I have been making quite detailed updates to my pages. Then, at some point, for some reason, I press Update and the page is updated to a version that is a few hours old – even though it has been updated and published numerous times since then. I have gone to check the revisions but there is not record or the later changes I have made. This means I have to go and do it all again. I thought it was an error I was making with the visual composer and accidentally going back to classic mode, but I haven’t been – the window has been open in the same way but, it seems randomly, then updates to an older version. Do you have any ideas why? Is it an issue with the latest theme update? I’m still relatively new to this theme so may be doing something wrong but it doesn’t appear so. I’m saving and updating almost every time I make a change to ensure it is saved as I’m working on a page.
