Not sure if this is bpress or kleo related, i cant seem to find any complaints on this on bpress boards.
When new member registers on my site, they have automatic friends requests from everyone waiting for them in friends-requests tab. Also, new registrants dont see any public groups, they get a message saying no groups were found, even though there are groups there which are public.March 21, 2015 at 23:53 #51070AbracadabraParticipantI found out what is causing public groups not to show up for everyone.
Currently when we set up Kleo Menu and add groups to it, it goes to sitename/members/username/groups, it should point to sitename/groups instead, how can I change that?
March 25, 2015 at 16:40 #51489LauraModeratorHello, a page can be added normally, Appearance > Menus > Pages find groups and place it in the menu.
Special links are used for special purposes, like linking users to their groups, friends…
But adding a page to the menu is very simple, just add the actual pageHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionLaura Solanes - Graphic Designer and Web Designer

March 25, 2015 at 16:47 #51491AbracadabraParticipantHi Laura, that is exactly what I did, but it points to the wrong url, it should go to sitename/groups, but instead it goes to sitename/members/username/groups. This causes new users not to see any public groups on the site, since it directs them to ones they are already signed up for in case of new registrant that is none, so to them it appears there are no public groups on the site where in fact there are few.

April 3, 2015 at 22:41 #53129AbracadabraParticipantThanks Laura, can you tell me how to do this? I am having the same problem with (forums) the link in menu goes to username/forums instead of straight to forums. Im looking in appearance/menus/pages but forums is not there, I have it in buddypress window, but when I add it from there it becomes custom and not page thus creating the same problem I had with groups.
April 6, 2015 at 03:13 #53346LauraModeratorHello, create a page and call it Forums, then select it in the plugin settings “pages” Now just add that page to your meny in Pages section

I never got an answer on this one, can you help please? On pages which I created myself, the footer stays up in the middle of the page instead of defaulting to the bottom how can I fix this?

Firstly your footer is in the middle of the page because you didn’t added any content in the page.
Secondly, to hide menu items based on user type, please use the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/nav-menu-roles/
Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

I was thinking it might be a good idea for you guys to set up FAQ sections for KLEO just like you have something like that for installing it, it would save a lot of time for you guys since there would be a lot less repeating questions on here. All of these little things on how to and plug in suggestions for solving issues.
One universal issue which Im sure comes up over and over on here, is redirecting after login and log out, I still have not solved that problem enitrely after all of these time, I have multiple plug ins doing that for me. I realize that you are working with Kleo-FB log in, but it would also be nice if you had some kind of out of box solution for regular wp login/logout if people elect to keep it, a place for us to enter where they get redirected after log in and after log out.
April 14, 2015 at 17:23 #54386AndreiModeratorHi, yes we are aware, and in the near future there will be a lot of improvements to come into our support section ( faq’s, video tuts, voted feature requests and much more .. )
For your problems regarding the redirects you should try the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/peters-login-redirect/
Cheers
