It appears that there might be some incompatibility issues between the Kleo theme and the RtMedia plugin. Users are unable to upload videos and photos when posting a status. Whenever this particular action is completed, the text part of the status is posted and displayed, while the photo/video completely vanishes. Please provide a fix or advise on how this critical issue can be address.

Do you have all plugins update ? especially buddypress and also rtmedia ?
Do you have made some custom development in child theme ?
Anyways try to de-activate all plugins except buddypress and rtmedia and repeat the described action also de-activate the child theme.
