Hi, I’m using your amazing buddyapp theme, great work.
I’ve a problem with the notifications that should appear in the Top Left Header Menu because I’m using WPML and I can0t find the way to show the notifications in the other languages, I mean, there are notifications in English but not for the other languages.
I’ve checked your documentation and forums and I have not been able to find if I need to configure something or not.
Can you help me please?

September 8, 2016 at 19:10 #135469RaduModeratorHi,
You should search for the notification messages that appears on certain language and to translate it to the desired language from wp-admin -> wpml -> string translation
Also, the BuddyPress multilingual plugin should be installed : https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-multilingual/
reference : https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/buddypress-multilingual/
Cheers

I disabled all the plugins and still no notifications. I have to say that I installed just the plugins that your theme required.
September 12, 2016 at 18:03 #135820pinxeParticipantHI,
I don’t know if you are working on my site but suddenly I can’t select the full width template. All my pages have right sidebar as you can see in the image attached despite I select full width template

The behaviour it’s wired because you can even click on the tasks messages or notifications in other languages than English… and this can be caused by translation of some string that hasn’t some tag unclosed.
Right now i don’t’ have ability to test on my local install because i don’t have wpml right now, tomorrow most probably i will have it, so please check with attention the translated strings.
Let me know
Cheers
R.Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionSeptember 12, 2016 at 19:08 #135844pinxeParticipantWell, I can’t click on the tasks messages on Top Left Header Menu in other languages than English…neither the notification messages. Can you click on it? I’ve checked 3 different browsers…nothing.
You can check my site if you can’t use wpml on your local enviroment. I sent you the credentials.
About the possibility of unclosed tag on the string translations, ok, could bé, but I’ve been using the string translation WPML utility and I just translated strings, not html content. Despite this I’ll check of course.
About the right sidebar, any suggestion?
September 13, 2016 at 15:56 #135950RaduModeratorThe lack of possibility to click on that buttons I’ve told you in my previous post, so i’ve tried to access your dashboard again to make some tests but it says :
Anyway please perform a full backup(database+files) then remove all languages and add them again, and don’t translate nothing related to the menu to test again, if the problem disappears it means that some character or some tag was unclosed.
Let me know
Cheers

Ok, what you ask is something that requiere a lot of effort, I’ll do it if it’s the only option we have.
Is there any other user using WPML and having the same problem? I don’t really think the problem is an unclosed tab.
September 14, 2016 at 16:44 #136097RaduModeratorHi,
Unable to figure out… and I cannot visit your website it says the same thing. attack detected. I wanted to test some things from your wp panel but I cannot can you please to de-activate that firewall ?

Cheers
R.Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionSeptember 14, 2016 at 16:59 #136101pinxeParticipantI re-uploaded the files, nothing.
I don’t have any firewall installed….I don’t know why you can not acces, I’ve sent the link and the same credentials to some friendsaround to check, no one is havig this “attack detected” messages. I don’t know what else to say.Ths last thing to check is to ask to my hosting provider about the message you have, it’s my last try, after that I’ll simply delete the top menu header, it’s a pity, but I don’t know what else to do.
I’ll ask to my hosting provider and I’ll tell you something ASAP
September 14, 2016 at 17:49 #136118pinxeParticipantMy hosting provider ask me your IP, can you give me this information?
September 14, 2016 at 19:11 #136140RaduModeratorMy IP is : 86.127.142.111 , but most probably tomorrow I will be able to investigate this.
I have dynamic IP allocation so if until tomorrow maybe this can be changed if this happens I will provide you my new IP address
Leave also FTP details maybe I will need them
Cheers

Yes, I see the notifications in profile -> notifications, even in the drop down menu up right side, the problem is in the top header menu.
September 19, 2016 at 16:32 #136501pinxeParticipantHi,

You added the menu translations to those extra languages but the items need to come from the BuddyApp section. See http://7thqueen.com/public-files/gabi/2016-09-26-9un6b.jpg
I added them for you
