Old Comments not showing up on blog posts

Hi,

I noticed that old comments written in previous posts are not showing up in the Kleo theme. I’m using the Kleo Child Theme.

I activated an old WordPress theme, and the old comments on http://jenonlife.com/chicken-stir-fry/ are listed and shows up on the post, but in the Kleo theme and the Kleo child theme, the comments are not showing up. The Kleo theme is aware that there are 2 comments (as shown in the tag with a speaking bubble and a number 2 next to it) but it doesn’t display the actual comments below the blog post article.

Know that for each blog post (settings>Discussion), the comment settings automatically close comments on articles older than 28 days. It’s the old blog post articles (older than 28 days) that have closed the comments and already have comments that do not show comments on the blog post. This is not an issue for the newer blog posts. The comments show up on the newer blog posts (less than 28 days). If I post a comment on a new blog post, the comments show on the post (I just tested this).

I would like to have the Kleo child theme display the old comments that people have left on the old blog posts (these are posts where the comments are already closed). Please let me know if you have a resolution for this issue.
