Old profile tabs remain when Profile & Group Menu Overlay is on

Hi,

i’m attaching a screenshot which shows (highlighted in blue) that when i switch on the new option to have the profle menu overlaid onto the cover photo, the old menu remains (although its not visible unless you highlight it, like i have on the screenshot)

I noticed that if i dont have my child theme enabled the problem goes away, but i checked my child theme and there is no code in there dealing with the menu.

any help appreciated, thanks.
