One-page Website (Scroll-Down Link/ Custom Link Menu)

Ok, I don’t know if anybody has tried to use this theme to build a one-page website, but I built one and it’s looking pretty neat. However, I encountered a problem with the jump links/scroll-down links as they are not working. The page stays at the intro/slider and doesn’t scroll down to the linked section once clicked.

Here’s a picture.

I don’t think I am doing anything wrong correct me if I am.

Remove the trailing slash from your link. And if its truely a one page site, then you dont even need the site info. All you need is #contact-us

None of this are working:

local-eh#contact-us (Server not found)
https://localeh.ca/local-eh#contact-us (redirects to the slider/refreshes the page)
https://localeh.ca/local-eh/#contact-us (redirects to the slider/refreshes the page)
#contact-us (nothing)
https://localeh.ca/#contact-us (this works but it’s not a scroll, it’s a jump and there’s a problem with the menu)

This 2 sections have completely different IDs

respond privately with link and credentials. I know it works. You have something screwed up.

Not sure why its not scrolling instead of jumping. I copied your page into my dev site and it scrolls. http://dev.sharmstr.com/one-page-test/ (click on contact). Perhaps a plugin conflict?

That is weird. I deactivated all plugins but Kelements and vcomposer and still jumps so I don’t think it’s a plugin conflict.
