Hi,
I’m wondering, is there a way that I can only show members with avatars?? I don’t want to show a blank man image in my “recent members” section in the homepage.

Unfortunately we don’t have a solution like that. Try using Buddypress Registration Options plugin to approve users only when they have e profile photo or something.
