Only show top profile section for some pages

I don’t want to show the profile section with the picture (div#profile) when a user is checking his/her messages, notifications etc.  I only want it to show when viewing someone else’s profile, or when viewing their own by clicking ‘My Profile’.  Is this possible?

Hi Laura, so I want users to only see that top section with the photo & details if they are viewing someone else’s profile, or if they click on My Profile (in case they want to edit their own). So, if they are just viewing their own messages, notifications etc, they wouldn’t see the top section with their own photo & details.

Ok thanks, yes it’s to hide your own profile, unless of course you click on ‘My Profile’ or want to edit your own profile.
