overlay an image with color

is there an easy option to add a color overlay to an image. I want to make the text on top of the image stand out. thanks!

You need another div to lay over the image to do that. I dont know of an easy way to do that in VC, so just edit the image in photoshop (or similar). Add a full size layer of whatever color you want and adjust the opacity.
