page refreshing always top

Hello,

when I am in my profile and I click from profile to activity for example the page is always refreshing and showing the page from the very top.

 

Is it possible to refresh the page but to show the lower profile area? So I do not always have to scroll down again?

Please disable all plugins except buddypress and let me know if the issue goes away.

Hi Radu,

this did not do anything unfortunately. But as I can see in your demo it is the same there.

If you are on your profile and you go from activity to messages for example you always have to scroll down again. Do you know what I mean?

Is it not possible to automatically have the page scrolled down to the position where I was (below profile image)?

Hi,

This is normally wey how to browser works, if you change page the new page will be shown from the top…

If you want to show page more lower you will have to modify entire buddypress links in that you will have to put a div example : https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/page-refreshing-always-top/#post-110684

You will need to modify some elemets to generate a hrefs with #div at the end, there is no quick solution for this..

Hi,

The links wasn’t pasted by mistake, i provided to you an example how you can access a link and then to scroll to certain section

You you will access your website with #dividname at the end the browser will scroll automatically to that section.
