my time is very long (about seventeen sec on mobile phone;

 

there a re a lot of suggestions about css and js.: how to fix them all? where to start by,? how?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us about page speed. The results in the tool that you used can be expanded to explain each point as well as how to solve these issues.

I have run your site through GTmetrix, this is the report https://gtmetrix.com/reports/campingbuddies.app/NmXeYdXA

Some general notes from the report are:

– You need a caching solution on your site that will reduce and/or combine your js/css files
– Optimize and reduce the size of your logo
– Add expired headers (see: https://gtmetrix.com/add-expires-headers.html)
– Implement a CDN, many hosts have them integrated for free. If yours does not then you can register for a free CloudFlare account

Additionally your time to first byte (TTFB) was 2.5s when I tested. This needs to be reduced to 0.5s or under, you will need to address this particular issue directly with your host.

I thought the solution was provided by theme Kleo.
there ‘s an option 4combine css and js included
I have to precise I’m not a developper, I followed what is proposed on Kleo, and it seems not enough.
do I need developper skills(me or another) to use Kleo, and if yes, how to access the code in wordpress?

Hi,

The options in KLEO relate specifically to the files from KLEO and not all of the other plugins that you may add. You will need to find a caching plugin that suits your needs.

You may wish to try the following

– WordPress Fastest Cache (Free) https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-fastest-cache/
– W3 Total Cache (Free) https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/
– WP Rocket (Premium $39) https://wp-rocket.me/pricing/

I have included a premium option because the plugin comes with support. If you do not feel comfortable installing and configuring these types of plugins then premium may be your best option as they will come with dedicated support.

You do not need developer skills to solve the issues you’re facing but you may need to read up on backing up and editing certain files, like .htaccess, before making any changes.

I won some time, by disactivating woocommerce, wichlist, and some others like pricing tables.

because there is no shop available yet on my website.

but it speaks also about bbpress wich I do need.
hope I shall not suppress all mywebsite in order to gain speed 😉 (joking)

the js configuration that seems needed , can it be done by a beginner developper? could I find easily documentation about that, or will I have to hire a pro(not possible right now)
?

The plugins I mentioned above will automatically combine these files (js & css) into as few as possible. You do not need to know any code, or hire a developer, to achieve this. The documentation would vary depending on the plugin that you opt to use.
