    Hello,
I sent this text to PaidMembership Pro:
    Hello,

I am now using Stripe as I had continous problems with PayPal one year ago.
Stripe works flawlessly and smoothly, but it seems people in my country don’t feel safe with Stripe as it’s not very common here in my country. So I would like to add PayPal Express as an option. I have changed from Stripe to PayPal Express and then back to Stripe.
Then I got both Stripe and Paypal at my Checkout Page, but when choosing “pay with PayPal”, a popup is saying, “can’t find payment information”….??

So, I choose to (in the meantime) leave it for PayPal in the Payment Settings, instead of put it back to Stripe. BUT PayPal deny the payment both from my users and me. It says: “This transaction couldn’t be completed. Please redirect your customer to PayPal.””

After some investigation from PaidMembership Pro, they returned to me with this:
There’s a problem with how the SweetDate theme changes our templates which is why you’re having the problems you’re having with the “PayPal Express as an Option on Checkout” add-on.”

I have 3rd hand reports that they’ve known about this issue for a while, and they may even have fixed it…”

I suggest you reach out to them via their support channel and ask if they’ve got a fix available to their Paid Memberships Pro ‘checkout’ template (it’s something they created, and not our default template) that will allow you to use the “PayPal Express as a Checkout Option” add-on on your site.”

So, have you got a fix available to your PMP checkout template??

Hope you can help out here!
    Thanks
    Oceanglim

    Hi,

Just copy this file : /wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/pages/checkout.php
    To this location : /wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/paid-memberships-pro/pages/checkout.php

Making this, you will use the default PMPRO checkout template where the addongs can work like in default pmpro templates.

Child theme needs to be installed and activated.

That’s all, doing this you will have default pmpro checkout flow

    Cheers

    Hi Radu,
    That didn’t make any difference…unfortunately..
I did exactly as you suggested.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Radu, thank you.
I have done it again now. But I can’t see any PaidMembershipPro – folder within your red marked square.

“Just copy this file : /wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/pages/checkout.php
    To this location : /wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/paid-memberships-pro/pages/checkout.php
Do you mean I should copy the checkout”

Do you mean I should copy the plugins’ checkout.php into the themes/sweetdate-child’ checkout.php or do you mean I should copy plugins’checkout.php into themes/sweetdate-child/paid-memberships-pro/pages???

Anyway, I did it just like you said…copied the checkout.php into the checkout.php of the childtheme.

    Hi,

You haven’t added the default form, if the folder missing, create them. it’s very clear how you can copy from a location to another.

Just copy this file : /wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/pages/checkout.php
    To this location : /wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/paid-memberships-pro/pages/checkout.php

Making this, you will use the default PMPRO checkout template where the addongs can work like in default pmpro templates.

Child theme needs to be installed and activated.

That’s all, doing this you will have default pmpro checkout flow and use the default pmpro checkout template
