Paid Memberships Pro + Kleo + Default WP login

Hello team,

First off,  let me tell you I just purchased Kleo a couple days ago and am playing around with it, and I can’t stop repeating out loud every now and then: Amazing! Bravo for the excellent job!!! I just wish I had discovered this theme before!

Anyway, I am contacting you because I am already a user / owner of Paid Memberships Pro, but one think I did not like at all (and apparently there was / is no “easy” way to change it) is that PMP will often redirect logins and forgotten passwords via the default WP login / password recovery / password change forms / pages.

That is IMHO a real UX breaker, and very annoying!!! If you sell a membership that is setup with all it’s pages and such, I don’t understand why for the above mentioned functions you have to mislead the member and take him/her to the default WP files!!

Maybe I’ve missed something, but I really don’t want my members to go through that. I’ve seen in Kleo’s demos some nice logins and registrations, but apparently they are not for use with PMP?

I’ve tried to search in your documentation etc… But I have no clue how to eventually (and hopefully) change that.

I was hoping you could point me towards articles or threads that explain how to change all this, if possible directly with Kleo theme…I know there is “Theme My Login” as a solution, but I’d like to avoid it if possible.

Finally, there is not much built into my site yet, but as I told you, I know beforehand this PMP “issue”, so there is nothing really yet setup in the site for you to access and see.

I hope I made myself understandable 😛 … Thank you very much for all the effort into building such an awesome theme!

Hello Again!

Update: Ok, I watched your “install” video all the way and discovered there your KLEO Login walkthrough…. 🙂 🙂 🙂 …:)
I did not expect to find instructions for the login in that video. Unfortunately, in the documentation I think there is no indication about setting up the login by first activating the Kleo option in the screen options, IMHO you should add that little extra indication in it maybe so it’s clear for people that might be confused by the video title and skip it video, like me (impatient!!! hahaha)… I went like crazy trying to figure out what was wrong that I couldn’t see the “Kleo” menu option by default (and yes, my bad, I did not think it was maybe unchecked in the screen options)…

So I can maybe say to disregard the previous message. 🙂 I am so excited with your theme! It’s been many, many themes I spent my humble budget on and end up a bit disappointed. Yours is a “hidden Gem” , and I say hidden because when you do a “top seller” Multi Purpose theme search in Envato, yours does not appear anywhere near the top sellers…Unfair!! hahaha, it may not be a top – top seller yet, but it deserves to be in the top three themes!

Anyway, sorry for the long chat here. I am trying to bring all the feedback I can, simply because I became a huge fan of Kleo!

Maybe you can close this ticket now. Next step is trying to figure out how to link a PMP membership with your login / register modal, so maybe I succeed, and if not, I’ll be bugging you again :S
