Permalink Issue

Hi,
Whenever I change permalink to something else other than default. all my pages are crashing. I even tried Permalinks and re-save the options, that didn’t work.

Also, I couldn’t make my registration page work. I activated that page: Setting- Membership(Anyone can register), but when I try register from homepage it goes to page not found page. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, You could talk to your hosting and see if it is related to their config. After you save the Permalinks a file named .htaccess is created in the root of your site. Check if it has access to write it.
For Buddypress to work it has to be configured with pretty permalinks like Post name in the settings page.

Thanks Abe. It was URL rewriting issue, updated my config file, and it is fine now.

I am going to use this theme for pet lovers, kindda like pet lovers get-together/dating site, and I would like to customize the reg form, and some other functions. Do you guys do minor custom modifications? what’s the charge going to be? Please let me know ASAP so I can send you the info.
