PHP Time Limit

Just installing the theme and I get the message:

PHP Time limit

30 – We recommend setting max execution time to at least 180 for importing the sample data. See:Increasing max execution to PHP

Another thread in this form suggested adding several lines to PHP.ini:

max_execution_time = 180
memory_limit = 256M
post_max_size = 64M
upload_max_filesize = 64M

So I did this but it still hasn’t worked. I contacted GoDaddy before trying all of this and they suggested I “google” the problem. (ugh!)  I have a managed wordpress account with them.

Any suggestions?
