Please help! Major issues installing Kleo !

Hi people of 7thqueen,

Please some major help needed!
I’m trying to install the Kleo theme all day now, but get a lot of errors, notices and/or bugs.
Pages do not want to load. Site and admin-pages loading endlessly.

Need your help with this. Some issues for example:

-Buddypress errors/notifications,
-Slider does not appear after importing demo data and sliders.
-Site loads extremely slow.
-Pages of Admin do not want to load.
-Media library is loading extremely slow, and after waiting for 15 minutes, still loading and NOT showing any of my images …page in admin keeps on loading….

In short:
I’d really like you to look with me in my admin. I never encountered so many problems installing a theme.
Where can I give you a login?
Nothing seems to work anymore! Hope to hear from you soon, my site is a mess now… 🙁

I deactivated BuddyPress and activated my old theme for now. My website still looks like a mess…

I Really need your help. So many bugs and website loading extremely slow is not good, after paying $66,- for Kleo.

Hi,

I spend 1,5 day trying to get things work and didn’t succeed.
This really is a bummer, I was so excited buying your theme.I never experienced so much different errors installing a new theme or plugin.
I understand it probably has a lot to do with all the extra plugins that come with the theme.
I understand also that the theme is complex and has a lot of functionalities. But following your installing video and documentation, and trying for so many hours, it cannot be oké running into so many conflicts….

For now I deleted everything:
Both Kleo themes, the pages, the media, and all the plugins that come with the Kleo theme.
I’m not new to WordPress and followed every step your Video tutorial exactly as it told me to do, but got error after error.

I’d really need you to help me installing the whole thing.
I am willing to give you acces to my website.

Hi,

Most probably the load issue is caused by your server hosting performance, plase try to increase your php max memory to 256MB read here how : http://seventhqueen.com/blog/code-snippets/increase-php-memory-limit-in-wordpress.html this may be helps the page load time also you can read this article about speed optimizing on kleo http://seventhqueen.com/blog/code-snippets/the-definitive-wordpress-speed-guide-step-by-step-easy.html

I can help you to setup the kleo theme like in demo, but please make a complete backup of your website and database.

Hi Radu,

Tnx! I did increase memory on the config.php to 256m now.
Also de .htacces file to: php_value memory_limit 64M
Hope this helps!

And I made a backup of my site and database.

Then, yes please help me setup the theme + plugins and demodata again.

Activated Kleo Child, but wait for you for installing the plugins…

I did install Plugin PMPro also now, just did not activate it yet.
And I dare not to install the other ones yet. Waiting for your assistance…

I’ve installed all plugins now, but did not activate any yet. Except for Visual Composer.

I Imported the demo data for only the ‘Home Pinterest Page’ and accidently deleted this page/data after importing it for the first time.

Tried to import it again, admin said: succesvol, but the Home Pinterest page does not show again in my pages-section.

Looks like I cannot import this twice? I’d really like to start with this one to look at how this is build.
How can I import this page/demo-data again?

Hi,

I’ve updated K-elements plugin and i’ve activated additional plugin, the issue that you have encounter with the pages was caused by the same pages but the pages was in trash, i’ve recovered pinterest style, activate, register,

Some pages are required for buddypress to work : http://hondenlevens.nl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp-page-settings the assigned pages not need to be deleted because it will cause problems to buddypress.

The pinterest page is here : http://hondenlevens.nl/home-pinterest and you can set to be homepage from wp-admin -> settings -> reading -> homepage -> choose this page.

Great! Thanks a lot. I will first try to get familiar with Visual Composer.
Later concentrate on buddyPress etc. (I will not delete any pages now).

For the Home-Pinterest-page: where can I find and change the header background-image?
I searched for it in the different rows, but could not find where to change this.

Can you tell me where I can do this?
