Where can I find the bp-custom.php of my plugins folder? Does it already exist? or would I need to create one? I would like to add a code to it.

Hello, it should be there already find it in wp-content/plugins
If not you will need to create one, check out https://codex.buddypress.org/themes/bp-custom-php/
