If I wanted to add a page that popped up like the login prompt (it’s going to be a Donate form), how would I go about doing that?

So, if you clicked on “Donate”, that box would popup with the donate button (that can be interacted with) inside.

Can I just copy the code for the login popup somewhere and alter it / associate it with a different link?

The login popup is form code and jquery code. You’re better off using one of the many popup form plugins that are out there.
