Portfolio – PDF – button

This may be on the wrong topic, sorry for that. Since I a newbie to WP programming I’ll explain my need.

On portfolio I have data from hotels, restaurants etc. Each of them have discount info.

What I need: create a button, once pressed, generates a PDF formatted by me. It will contain, current user data, portfolio data (with discount data), may have generated bar-code.

If someone could point me what I need to study (link on the docs (WP/Kleo/Buddypress(?)) it would help.

Changing a little bit… if I have a static PDF file. And I need a button on the menu to just download it… any samples to manage that ?

Hello, you can create a button with kleo shortcodes and add a link to the pdf file in your server ( upload the file to the main root by FTP)
Like mywebsite.com/mypdf.pdf
This as a link to the button, once users click on it they will see the pdf and be able to download it. Then you can take that shortcode and add it to the menu doin an echo.
