Position fixed/absolute problem

Hello, I’ve stumbled on one problem… Whenever I set position: absolute/fixed to an object it’s width attribute suddenly becomes 0px. While editing home page I’ve set a fullscreen revslider and placed a logo and members carousel over it which are needed to be positioned absolute/fixed but due to width problem they cannot be shown.

Nevermind… I’ve completly redone that page using jscripts instead of revoluton slider.
