Posts Carousel Format Issues

I used the format of your demo homepage for the site I’m developing. I’m using the Posts Carousel to display my events custom post type. The carousel is showing 6 posts as it’s supposed to per my code but it’s not formatted correctly.

The first 3 posts do not show the post title and excerpt and “Read More” button below the images. However, when you click to go to the next 3 posts, the post title and excerpt do show. I’ve added links to screenshots below.
