Posts Looks Very Unattractive, Where Can I Modify?

Where can I modify what my posts look like? This is all I’m getting here in the photo and can’t seem to find how I can customize them to look more like in the demo photo below

Dont use the VC post grid shortcode. In the second image, those were built using the News Focus and News Highlight shortcodes.
