    I have been creating a row at the top of my posts and using an image as the background to create a featured image. This gives me more control and it works better for me.

    My problem is that this is the first image that I insert into the page, but when I publish it, it will only take the first image that it finds in a text block to display on my home page.

    This is pretty inconvenient for me because often the image I use in a text block is a bad shape and maybe very small so when the post shows up on a home page, it is very pixelated or too tiny for anyone to care what it is about.

    Is there a way that I can choose which image is to be displayed or even design my own image in photoshop, that is the perfect size, that people see for the post on the homepage but is not in the post?

    Look at the photo I attached. They designed perfectly sized images for those posts that are attractive and fit the column. If you click on those posts, those images aren’t even in there. They are just to display the post.

    My posts all look pretty bad, I need a way to make them uniform and symmetrical.

    Have any ideas?

    Hello, you should use the featured image section at the edit post sidebar, let me know if you already tried that 🙂

    I did use that and the image was showing up in weird places on the top of the post and I had no control of where it was.

    I sent a support ticket for this problem and you recommended that I use a row as the first element and set an image as the background to the row. This works much better. But now Kleo doesn’t take that image as my feature image to be shown from the home page. It takes the first one from a text block that is put after the first row.

    I wish I could have a featured image that does not appear IN the post but is the image that you see for that post on the home page.

    Otherwise I would like for Kleo to use the image I set as the background for the first row.

    Take a look at this post.

    I put that image as the background for the row at the top of the page. That is the one I want kleo to display for the post. But I have to put the image in the article AGAIN, otherwise Kleo takes a different picture.

    In the reference pictures I sent above, those feature images for those posts do not exist IN THE ACTUAL POST. If I set a feature image in Kleo, it places the image randomly at the top of the page and very large.

    Hello, try adding this to style.css at child theme, and use the featured image option

    COPY CODE

    .single .format-standard .article-media, .single .format-image .article-media {
    display: none;
    }

    Let me know if it works 🙂
