ParticipantI’m looking to add these into my site and I’m wondering how to get them as small text links in the socket? Also, would anyone know if I can have an affiliate disclaimer and privacy policy together on the same page and where I could get an auto generated terms of use? Thanks

ParticipantI used iubenda.com for my policy which gave me all sorts of codes for integrating it into my site but I cant quite figure it out. In a text block where you insert words either in Visual or Text, I go to text and paste code but it only gives me a link that says Privacy Policy.
I figured this would be fine if I could use that code to make a text widget and place the code inside and have my Privacy Policy down in the footer but when I insert the code into the text widget I get the actual long privacy policy written out a half a mile down my footer.
Ideally I could have this in the socket next to the copyright icon and site name.

ModeratorHello, you can paste the privacy policy in a page, then at Appearance > Menu create a new menu and call it it for example Footer Menu, then add your privacy policy page.
At Appearance > Widgets, add to the footer column, the widget custom menu, and select your new menu. Save and you will have a link to your privacy policy page at the footerHi there!!! ParticipantThis doesn’t quite work as described. When I create a menu called Footer Menu the only options I am given are to add them to the kleo top menu, primary menu or side menu. Not to add a page.
When I go to customizer and click menus my new footer menu shows up as an option, but when I choose to put the Privacy Policy in there it doesnt show up in the footer.
I think I will just leave it as I have it though. I set it so my pages are displayed in my footer and I include the Privacy Policy and just exclude it from the top and primary menus. Ideally I would have it in the socket but it’s not such a big deal.

ModeratorHello, no, there is not the option at the menus, just create the menu, then save it, do not check anything. Then at appearance – widgets add the widget custom menu to a footer column, and then select your menu

ParticipantSo that allows me to add a new column in the footer. But what if I’d like to get it in the socket at the bottom where the site name and copyright symbol are?

ModeratorHello, then you will need to add a link at the socket area in theme options, something like
COPY CODE<a href="url of the page">Privacy Policy</a>Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solution -
