Is there any way to add a little more functionality to the private group membership requests? We have hundreds of member requests, but not everyone is accepted.
Would it be possible to add a simple search on the requests page so that we can quickly search usernames and accept those members who need access?
I understand we could create hidden groups and invite only those we want in, but we’d like to keep the group visible in the directory.
Thank you!
December 21, 2016 at 06:19 #147617LauraModeratorHello, for the requests, right now the only way is to accept the members or leave the group public
Buddypress doesnt have those features still and i am not sure it they will add it, maybe if you contact a developer to create it it would work. I am sorry i am not able to help on this, but let me know if there is anything else you need help with 🙂Hi there!!! That way we could at least quickly click through the pages and find the username we are looking for instead of blindly guessing when they might have made their initial request.
Thank you.
