Problem getting started

Hi there:  I’ve been using Thrive Themes for three years, and I finally moved to you guys.  I’m having some problems:

1. Believe it or not, I cannot get the sound to work on any of the videos, whether it’s on your website or on Youtube.  OTHER Youtube videos work just fine, but … huh?  Got any suggestions for that?  And no, the mute button is not on.

2. I need to install a community site, but I want people to be able to see a geomap showing where all of the members are.  I want this on the front page.  I have a wireframe.  Seems to me that this shouldn’t be all that complex, but I’m actually pretty confused.

3. You guys say that we shouldn’t download an entire demo, that we should just download what we’ll need, but here’s my question:  How can I see what the page names are in the demo accounts?  I have now downloaded WAY too many demos and am swimming in pages. Do I REALLY have to click on every single page to try to figure out relationship to other things?  Or is there a map somewhere?

This is mostly because I want to put one page from one site (e.g. the geomap function) into the community site.

You guys have offered me a free install, so I think I’ll take advantage of it, although I don’t understand it.  The Community site doesn’t have any community stuff on the front page. Instead, it has what looks like a data sheet.   I’ll follow up.  tks!

Hi guys: I installed too many of your files and I just ended up being confused. So I deleted everything and re-installed WordPress. Someone offered to install my product for free in an email. If you can help me find them, I would appreciate that, thank you.

BTW, I want my website to be a community site, where people can post in groups or forums, but with one change. I want the location of every user to appear on a geomap, and I want the map to be on the front page. That’s the ONLY change that I want.

Hi Laura: I would appreciate it so much! I ended up deleting my installation try AND my database, etc. etc. What a mess.

Can I ask you a few questions before you start? I’m sorry. I don’t always understand things first go-round so I have to ask a lot of questions.

First, someone emailed me and said that you guys would install. That is this service, right?

We need a members site with a map. That sounds perfect. I can’t find it on your page though. Here’s what we came up with.

It looks as though your map site is just for businesses, and not for a community. So I guess I would ask to get a basic community site, and then, if you guys could give me some information about putting a map of members on the front, I would appreciate it. Thank you!

Hi Laura: Yes please. I would like your help. I tried a couple of times to install it and it’s not working for me.

I have simplified. Let’s just start with basic, without the map. (I can do that later, right?)
I just need a standard setup for a community site, with this page at the front (see attached.)

At this point, I cannot use this template. Thank you for your help.

I think that I would like the community demo. It looks like it might be the same thing as the buddypress demo, but with a different home page — am I wrong? Because I would like for the details and setup from the Buddypress demo.

Hello, the demo is installed, but there was an issue with rev slider, can you share ftp access so i can fix it? ( its the slider, not visible )
