Hi,
I have imported the Get Connected demo page, but whenever I try to set it as the static hompage it removes all the formatting of the page see attached screenshots of the page as normal, then what it looks like when set as the frontpage.

January 8, 2016 at 15:12 #97221nrfaustraliaParticipantMy site url IS http://www.nrfaustralia.com.au/members
/members is a subfolder on my domain and is where this wordpress installation resides.
I want to make the homepage the Get Connected Page.
I don’t understand what you mean by “You cant set it as the Buddypress members directory page”
I can’t set what? I can’t set the Get Connected Page as the Home page? is this what you mean?

January 8, 2016 at 15:29 #97234sharmstrModeratorAhhh, ok. I was confused because ‘members’ is a BP slug. I believe that’s the problem. It conflicts with buddypress. Buddypress uses “members” for the member directory. I’ve never set up a site that way, but I’m 90% positive that’s what’s going on. If you look at the source code for you home page, it thinks its the members directory.

January 8, 2016 at 15:31 #97235nrfaustraliaParticipantah ok thank you. I’ll try changing the subfolder name and configs etc…and see how i go. Thank you 🙂
January 8, 2016 at 15:38 #97239sharmstrModeratorOkay. Let me know. Like I mentioned, I’ve never tried using BP reserved slugs as my WP root directory so it would be good to know for sure.

January 9, 2016 at 00:38 #97416nrfaustraliaParticipantYes that was the exact problem. Thank you for your help. I’ve changed the subfolder name to something different and all is working great. Legend!!
