ParticipantHi,
I have imported the Get Connected demo page, but whenever I try to set it as the static hompage it removes all the formatting of the page see attached screenshots of the page as normal, then what it looks like when set as the frontpage.

ModeratorYou cant set it as the Buddypress members directory page. Furthermore, you should not set up child pages under any buddypress pages.

ParticipantMy site url IS http://www.nrfaustralia.com.au/members
/members is a subfolder on my domain and is where this wordpress installation resides.
I want to make the homepage the Get Connected Page.
I don’t understand what you mean by “You cant set it as the Buddypress members directory page”
I can’t set what? I can’t set the Get Connected Page as the Home page? is this what you mean?

ModeratorAhhh, ok. I was confused because ‘members’ is a BP slug. I believe that’s the problem. It conflicts with buddypress. Buddypress uses “members” for the member directory. I’ve never set up a site that way, but I’m 90% positive that’s what’s going on. If you look at the source code for you home page, it thinks its the members directory.

ModeratorOkay. Let me know. Like I mentioned, I’ve never tried using BP reserved slugs as my WP root directory so it would be good to know for sure.
