Hello guys!
After my last Kleo update (from 4.1.2 to 4.1.7) several fonts with bold style don’t work anymore.
Please check the attached files, where I have put before/after images.
There is a:
- Menu item ( “Administração”),
- Custom Heading (“Notícias & Avisos”) and a,
- Toggle (“”).
In the case of the menu, I use “<b><i>» ADMINISTRAÇÃO</i></b>” in the “Navigation Label” field.
I the case of the Custom Heading and the Toggle, I use a CSS class with just “font-weight: bold;” on it.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

February 6, 2017 at 17:18 #152142RaduModeratorHi,
Do you have the latest version of WordPress ? If not update those
Do you have the latest version of plugins installed ? If not update those
If you de-activate all plugins it works ? if yes enable back plugins one by one to identify what causes this.
If you de-activate the child theme it works ?
Where i can see this live ?

IT’S UNDER INTERNAL DEVELOPMENT RIGHT NOW. IT’S NOT ONLINE YET.By the way, I have found another topics about apparently the same problem I have (problem with bold fonts after an update).

February 7, 2017 at 17:50 #152236RaduModeratorHi,
If you have turned off plugins and child theme and you still encounter the issue i need to view the live URL…
A common case for those kinds of problems are some tags forgotten unclosed in your case a B tag
Cheers

Can I send you the source code of the home page, for example?
I’ve checked the code and there is no B tag (or other similar) unclosed.
February 9, 2017 at 14:56 #152471RaduModeratorOk let’s try, put the whole page source on pastebin.com from example.
Cheers

Accidentally I discovery something… After I put a slider on a page, and because of that I needed to add this on the “Header content(optional)” section of the page:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://www.w3schools.com/lib/w3.css">
“magically” the bolds returned ON THAT PARTICULAR PAGE.
Please check the attached images.
Then I added the same CSS reference file at another page and the same happened.
So, the problem maybe is not with the bolds, and in fact another font was used and it changed when I added the CSS.
BUT, the point is: I didn’t had this instruction before the Kleo update and the bolds worked…
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I changed several times the Body font at “Theme options > Fonts > Body” (Kleo Child theme), choosing several different fonts, and nothing changed on my homepage.
I believe there is something wrong with the fonts after all
February 20, 2017 at 18:44 #153555RaduModeratorHi,
The font functionality works as it should I cannot see any problems changing the fonts, maybe the problem it’s caused by a certain plugin from your install or by the child theme ?
Try to de-activate child theme and all plugins and empty/purghe all caches and test again, this is most sure the problem cuz i cannot reproduce that and if there was a problem with the update that should be reflecting on all kleo instances not only you.
To can be able to help you put the install somewhere online like this is blind mode for me.
Cheers
