Problem with buddypress login widget

Hello

I wanted to know if anyone knows how to fix this issue

I created a widgetized sidebar to input the buddypress login on my home page and it worked great at first but now the input box for the user name has shortened and I am not even sure where to look to fix this. None of the other sign up widgets on the site have this issue.

I am assuming it is a problem with CSS or the visual composer settings I used to input it on the page in the first place.

It must be from a plugin installed. Add this css to fix it

I added the code to the child theme css and it did not change the box, should I add the code to a different file?
