Problem with forums

Hello. I am having some problems with the forum. It doesn’t work for some time and I don’t know why. Maybe I changed something updating the plugins or with the configuration or don’t know.

All the forums and topics disappeared and now I can create forums but not topics. Appeared some code problems in the .php in some line. I uninstalled and installed again the plugins, updated the theme and everything. That code doesn’t appear now but if I click on a tipic appears this:

<br /> <b>Fatal Error</b>:Call to undefined function bb_get_id_from_slug() in <b> …/plugins/buddypress/bp-forums/bp-forums-functions.php </b> on line <b> 264 </b>.

This is just a guess, but maybe you’ve enabled “Group forums” in the Buddypress settings. Groupd forums are no longer handled by BP and will cause conflicts. Go to Wp Admin – Settings – Buddypress – Components – Retired and make sure there isn’t a check next to “Group Forums”.

If that doesnt work, then I suggest asking over at the Buddypress forums since its their code that’s throwing the error. /plugins/buddypress/bp-forums/bp-forums-functions.php
