Problem with Members Directory with BP Profile Search

Hello guys.

I’m working on my own custom Members Directory with BP Profile Search.

What I’ve done so far:

1 – I created a new Members Directory template, by:
* On the KLEO > “buddypress/members” directory, I copied the files “index.php” to “index-2.php” and “members-loop.php” to “members-loop-2.php”;
* Edited the file “index-2.php”, replacing “members/members-loop” with “members/members-loop-2”;

2 – I created a new page called “Company Directory”, with the shortcode [bps_directory template=members/index-2] on it.

The page itself works fine (I mean, it opened and showed the members), but I’m facing two problems (but both apparently with the same reason):

1 – When I search for a term using the KLEO search form on the members page (please check the image “2.png”) it reloads the page with the default

2 – When I change the page of the list, the same thing happens: it moves to the next page and shows the members correctly, but using the default template.

I think it’s really a small detail, but I could’t find it… 🙁

Hello, it may be a conflict with another plugin, have you tried disabling some?

This issue is because buddypress pagination will link to the default page, and that’s because it wasn’t been built to support want you want to achieve. Also the search form probably points to the default page as well, that’s why it doesn’t stay on your custom page.

If you want to continue with your idea you’ll have to create your own custom pagination and search form to keep you in your custom members directory page.
