I have had 2 friends with sympatico.ca emails have problems signing up. They get to the point where they get the message that sign up is successful and I see them in the back end but when they try and login it gives them the message that user does not exist. I suspect that I have another user that has the same problem with a different email address that ends in .ca because I can’t see her in the members carousel but can’t be sure because she hasn’t gotten back to me.
Also, when I check the membership list I see that the billing address for those who have successfully registered as US even though they are all Canadian. I am in beta so all membership are free so they haven’t added any addresses except in the bp-xprofile field city (I am using geo-my-wp).
Finally, how do address the fact that the activation email often ends up in users’ junk mail. Any suggestions?
